Word Prompt "Connect" - Inkspirational Challenges

So it is yet again time for a new challenge over at
This time we have our Word Prompt theme:

This one was a bit tricky for me at first but then I got to think about when I was a kid. I used to love those pictures where you have to connect the dots to make the image appear.
So this is the thought behind my card for today...

I really like how this card turned out. I found a rather old stamp set with little dots on a row. I cut one of the dots off the clear stamp and then used it to trace around a heart die. Voila!

With this card I am participating in:
Hobbygarasjen - #45 Hjerter
Papirplaneten - #14 Kjærlighet
Scrappelyst - Februar "Hjerter"
Scrap from your Heart - Valentines/Mother's Day

Go visit the other INK DT girls and leave them some crafty love too...

Don't forget to have fun :)

10 Months Till Christmas - Simon Says Stamp and Inktense pencils

Time flies and now there is only 10 months till Christmas!
As previous years I am making at least one Christmas card per month. The good thing is that when Christmas is coming close I'll have a stash of cards ready. This year I am aiming for a BIG stash!

I am sooo fond of how this card turned out. It gave me the opportunity to finally use my "newer" stampset from Simon Says Stamp "Winter Flowers".

I have coloured in the flower and leaves using Derwent Inktense pencils and a waterbrush. The watercolour look it gives is fantastic. I really like that it looks so splotchy.

With this card I am participating in:
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' - Anything Christmas Goes February
Fab'n'Funky Challenges - #339 Christmas

Also check out the Danish Operation Write Home blog (Operation Skriv Hjem). Each month on the 24th a three-woman team (including me) will be sharing Christmas card inspiration.
That is all for today :)

Edge Dies Bonanza with My Favorite Things

Sometimes it can be tricky to get around to use all of your dies, sometimes it goes for some specific dies. For me it is edge dies. For some reason I don't reach for them very often.

So today I am sharing a couple of cards where I use my edge dies in a more creative way which fits my card style better.

These cards were created as DT projects for the Danish online store Hobbyboden.dk.

By using the inlaid die-cutting technique I get much more out of my edge dies. On top of that, I get to use some of my scrap paper.

For this card I have used the "Stitched Scallop Basic Edges" die.

I have made a video showing this technique with another card using a Dahla Horse die.
You can see it HERE.

For the next card I have used the "File Folder Edges" die set.

I am so glad I decided to position the file folder taps in a straight line. This looks so cool!

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Stamps and has been heat embossed.

You can read the Danish blog post HERE.

I wish you all a marvelous Wednesday :)
